Colleen P Medeiros RS-80134
Colleen was born in Honolulu and grew up in Kailua, on the Windward coast of Oʻahu. Life at that time revolved around school, time spent at the beach, and daily drives to Waimanalo to care for her horses. Her familiarity with Maui began in childhood where she spent summers visiting family in Lahaina, her father’s home. After high school, motivated by her love of horses, Colleen moved to Billings, Montana. There she enrolled at Rocky Mountain College, in their Equine Science program, “It was one of the best times of my life. Needless to say, I realized I needed a more practical profession.” Colleen then switched majors and earned her Bachelors of Science in Sociology and Environmental Studies.
Prior to Real Estate, Colleen worked in Cultural Resource Management; archaeology, land management, consulting and planning. Experience in these fields has given Colleen a unique depth of knowledge when it comes to understanding Maui’s Real Estate. Additionally, she has worked in property management, managing long and short-term rentals since 2013. Colleen has a deep interest in all things historic; culture, arts, traditions, lands, and historic homes. Colleen lives in Kula with her husband and children, their dog Maka and cats Misty and Leo.
